    The report on competitive industrial performance (CIP Report) is a biennial publication of UNIDO based on the analysis of statistical indicators of industrial performance. For this purpose, countries are ranked by Competitive Industrial Performance Index (CIP Index), which consolidates eight indicators related to production and trade of manufactured goods, technological intensity and impact of the country on the world market. The 2018 edition of the report has the coverage of 150 countries, the largest number so far.
